One major teaching philosophy of his is that the main priority for any level/age golfer should be to have FUN, first and foremost, while learning the game. Cementing a strong base of fundamentals i.e. (grip, aim, alignment and posture) is the key to a consistent and repetitive golf swing. Another key to a student’s success beyond the practice tee comes from not only knowing “how” but “why”. This step will help the student to become more self-aware of what the process should look and feel like; which gives them an opportunity to be their own coach when that time comes.
Corey grew up in Hendersonville, Tennessee and learned to play golf around the age of ten. He grew up playing many sports, including basketball through high school. Golf began to become more of a passion after high school. While working as a maintenance employee at a golf course in Tennessee, he decided that a career in golf could be an option for him. In May of 2011, Corey began school at the Golf Academy of America in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and graduated with a degree in Golf Complex Operations and Management.
Our golf instructors will analyze your swing, and correct any errors to assist you in reaching your true golfing potential.
